My body fat calipers are in just in time for the bikini and bathing suit season. If you are worried about how you might look now that you can no longer hide under the layers of winter clothing, maybe it's time to see exactly where you stand as you start toning up for the season.
While most people worry about weight, I tend to focus on body composition and the habits that support a healthier one. Here is a blog I wrote last year that explains some of the reasons I like body fat percentage over weight:

Siddeeq's Choco-Cherry Kale Smoothie
Siddeeq’s Choco-Cherry Kale Smoothie
I took a few creative liberties with a recipe my good friend Tom Telford graced me with months ago.
Tom has been playing the #YDBG for about 3 years now and that’s what happens when the student becomes the teacher, they start bringing new innovative ideas to you.
Tom’s recipe called for only 4 or 5 ingredients and only one blending/juicing apparatus. I had to be a little difficult (and my vitamix is a little under the weather currently) and juiced and then blended (compositing has me less discouraged from letting all that healthy organic material go uneaten).
½ Bunch of Kale
3 Large Carrots
1 Inch of Ginger
1 Apple
1 tsp Almond Extract
1 Frozen Banana
1 Cup Frozen Cherries
1.5 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1.5 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 Pinch of Fresh Cilantro
Directions:
Juice the Kale, Carrots and Ginger.
Add juice to Vitamix, add remaining ingredients and blend till smooth, serve and enjoy!
